Company Codex of SHEDLIN AG

1. We act according to the SHEDLIN maxim:

"Those whose conscience requires them to act in a certain way shall also have the duty to act this way.” This maxim constitutes the basis of all our acts.

2. It is immoral not to change one’s opinion against reasons.

Everybody has to be able to have themselves put in question. What counts before positions and titles is the power of the better argument. Those who can change their opinions, can also change the environment. 

3. We promote creative disobedience.

To us, creativity means the ability to think and act in a productive and realistic way against any kind of routine. The company lives on innovation which is encouraged by autonomous staff members.

4. "Impossible is not possible!"

Every challenge constitutes an opportunity to improve our orientation towards solutions.

5. In our mutual advancement, we abstain from any kind of accusations.

To us, mistakes are orientation guides. There are only two things which are of importance in mistakes:

1. How can we straighten out what is twisted?
2. What can we do to avoid a reoccurence of this mistake?

"Further development is also tantamount to the discovery of unknown mistake possibilities. The more mistakes we know, the more of them can be avoided by us. The more mistakes we know how to avoid, the more advanced our further development."

6. We distinguish between reality and real life.

Reality and real life distinguish the (neutral) cause and the (subjective) perception. My perception is not obliging for anybody. We do not allow media and majorities to determine our lives, but the findings worked out by ourselves and accounted for by us. We are all obliged to one reality only, but this reality is revealed in different real lives. If we learn to understand ourselves, we will also recognize the quality or our own perspectives. We promote personalities with the objective to stand more realistic in life.

7. We cultivate an image of reliability on top level.

We promote this image of reliability through quality (professional and social maximum performance), quantity (completeness, transparancy and customization) and adherence to deadlines (preparation, punctuality, time dedicated to partners in line with their requirements).

8. We learn for ourselves and help others learn.

Learning means constant further development resulting from the dissatisfaction with the best solution. We undertake to promote others, to ask questions and to share our knowledge. We want others to grow when socializing with us.
